Kathiravan M Pethi (Kadri)

Kathiravan M. Pethi (Kadri) is the Guinness World Record holder for the Longest Lesson Learned. This non-stop lecture for 78 hours raising funds for needy students.

Kadri represented India at the Toastmasters International Convention in Miami, Florida, in the year 2000. He was declared the World’s Best Speaker among 6500 participants from 65 countries in the International Taped Speech Competition. He is the first Indian to achieve this distinction.

 

He is the recipient of an International Citation from the Lions Club International President for exemplary service to humanity.

He has authored several books, including one with Dr Dilip R. Abayasekara (past president of Toastmasters International) titled “Public Speaking with Power, Passion, Purpose.”

The profile of the organizations he has trained ranges from Fortune 500 companies to military veterans of the United States government. He has also been a guest faculty member at global universities.

 

Whether it is a 5-year-old child or a 90-year-old young person, he can create a strong bond with his amazing ability to shift from a very serious perspective to a humorous one. 

A gifted writer and storyteller he has a talent for crafting quotes and poems that perfectly capture the essence of any occasion.

 

His purpose of touching hearts and transforming lives has so far impacted more than 3 lakh lives.
