Imagine a lighthouse standing tall on a rocky shore, its beacon guiding ships through the darkest night. Its light is steady and unwavering, providing a sense of security and hope to those who see it.
Now, picture a flickering candle, its light dancing erratically in the wind. It does provide light to the best of its capacity, but it is unpredictable and gets burned out completely in the process.
Personally, I have been there and done that. I have put everyone and everything else as a priority and tried to do too many things for too many people at the same time.
Then, one day, I had an epiphany—my "𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐛 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭" I realized that I didn't need to be everywhere, lighting up every window without truly making any difference to where I stood. It was time to prioritize what truly mattered and invest my energy and life where it made the most difference.
With that transforming thought, I changed my attitude, my profession, and ultimately my entire life. I genuinely feel fulfilled with what I do now.
I would wish to see many more hearts ignited by this spark.
So, the next time you feel the urge to spread yourself thin, remember the power of being an illuminating force in one place. It's not about how many candles you light; it's about the brilliance and steadiness you bring to the lives you touch.
And I wish to touch hearts, transform lives, and illuminate shores every day of my life.
So, which shore do you plan to light up? Share your illuminating thoughts and your personal journey with me!
